The inaugural APEX Convention is taking place at the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas today, Monday, 27 November 2017. APEX, Advance Performance Exponents Inc., was established in 2016 as the Caribbean’s only, not-for-profit agency solely dedicated to the delivery of technology and human development solutions to strengthen and improve the administration of law and justice, nationally and regionally. APEX is governed by judges and legal practitioners from across the Caribbean
The event will:
• Share how CURIA offers solutions to many of the common issues that plague national courts.
• Facilitate open discussion on current Court technology utilization in matters of regional interest, particularly as it relates to backlog reduction; judicial performance enhancement; and court process improvement;
• Review progress, strategies, and approaches for building and/or strengthening national courts to enhance case flow management, technical competences, and technology infrastructure;
